New Web Site

Home of the Mighty Marlin
Thanks to the efforts of many people, the Campo Marlins have a new home on the Web!

Many years ago Mike Wright took over the website and has kept it alive and functional with the help of John Kaiser. The Marlins would like to thank both of them for their hard work and dedication to keeping the site up-to-date with all the happenings and meet results. After so much honorable duty the old site has been retired. It can still be found at www.GoCampo.org.

The new site is still very much a work in progress and most of the internals are not yet ready for use. The exciting thing is that the site is ready to accept your swim team registrations. A great deal of thought has been put into trying to design a site that will simplify the registration process and reduce the amount of repetitive information you must enter. Hopefully, you'll find that this makes registration a snap!

If you have any questions, suggestions or feedback please feel free to send an email to: Webmaster@CCCMarlins.org

Marlins Magic

Drenched in OMPA glory
Each year, the swim season ends with the OMPA meet. This is the only meet all year where all nine memeber teams of OMPA compete. It is held at the Soda Aquatic Center adjacent to Campolindo High School in Moraga, California. OMPA has an aire of excitement that no other event in the season has. All nine teams of OMPA are camped out in the Campolindo baseball field for three days. There is nothing like it all season. In addition to the swimmers, the parents, grandparents, friends and family all show to cheer the team on.

The momentum we built over this season carried well into OMPA and we had one of our best finishes ever. We finished three places ahead of last year and our team and supporters relished every minute of it. In addition, we had two swimmers who were best in their gender/age group which is an amazing achievement.

CAMPO

Who we are and Where we Swim
About our Pool The Marlins proudly represent the Campolindo Cabana Club (CCC), located in the sunny hills of Moraga, California. CCC is unique in our league in that it is the only facility that is owned by a home owners association. Ours is the only club that has two full lap pools in which to train and compete.
About our Team Established in 1968, the Marlins are a recreational swim team competing in the Orinda Moraga Pool Association (OMPA) league. The Marlins enjoy strong support from our swimmer families and neighborhood. The vast majority of the coaching staff are former team swimmers who have risen through the ranks.
About our League Orinda Moraga Pools Association (OMPA) is a Northern California swim league comprised of nine clubs from Orinda and Moraga, California. It is a premier swim league that has been the early inspiration for more than a few Olympic swimmers. Each season culminates in a three day, nine team meet held at the Soda Aquatic Foundation in Moraga.
